On August 7-9, 2024, the 22nd China International Coatings Expo with the theme of "Green and Low Carbon, Science and Technology Innovation for the Future" successfully concluded at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center.   The "Technical Requirements for Low Volatile Organic Compound Content Coating Products" (GB/T38597-2020) implemented from February 1, 2021, clearly stipulates that powder coatings belong to low volatile organic compound content coating products. The synthesis process of polyester resin does not add any organic solvents, and powder coatings have the advantage of no VOCs emissions, so the environmental performance of powder coatings is becoming increasingly prominent.
  On December 22, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Guiding Catalogue for the First Batch of Secondary Application Demonstrations of Key New Materials" included powder coating specific polyester resin in the list of key new materials.
  Powder coating is a new type of solvent-free 100% solid powder coating, which has the characteristics of solvent-free, pollution-free, recyclable, environmentally friendly, energy and resource saving, and has attracted many customers for consultation and negotiation.
